Amani Saeed is an international writer who treads the line between roots and routes.
She writes poetry, blog posts, films, and whatever else is needed to get the point across. Amani is the curator and host of the interdisciplinary sell-out night the hen-nah party, designed by and for queer South Asians. Her poetry collection, Split, was published with Burning Eye Books. Amani is the co-writer for Queer Parivaar, which premiered at the BFI Flare 2022 and won Best in British at the Iris Prize 2022.
Tasneim Zyada is a London-based writer and published poet.
With her roots stemming from Haifa, Palestine 1948, she documents the generational stories that rise to the surface within her own. Described as a calm storm, Tasneim’s work touches on memories, mental health, relationships and faith. Her accolades include facilitating sold out creative workshops and performing on international stages - notably: AWAN, PalArt Fest, Bloomsbury Festival and Shubbak.
Alice Motta is a physical theatre actor and bilingual poet published in Brazil and the UK.
Her work investigates sexuality, belonging, and freedom. In 2023, she won Poet Stellium’s competition on mental health and was featured in The Other Side of Hope magazine. Alice participated in past editions of the Newham Poetry Festival and took part in the newhampoetrygrp anthology.
